Timing is everything with 90 day trial period


You need a plan to manage the 90day trial period well, and make sure you meet the obligations of good faith as an employer. Why not consider using a shorter than 90 day trial period? Give yourself the option of making payment in lieu of notice by including this in the wording of the clause.
